Krepps Covered Bridge Festival
The Hickory U.P. Church will sponsor the Washington and Green Counties Covered Bridge Festival at the Krepps Covered Bridge for the seventh year on September 15-16 2012. The Krepps Covered Bridge is a working bridge in a beautiful rural setting near the farming community of Hickory, PA. Attendance has increased each year, and based on feedback from guests and vendors, we are known as a quality event. See scenes from last year’s event.
We feature a different event on the stage each hour, delicious homemade food from the kitchens of Hickory U.P. Church, an antique tractor show on Saturday, antique/classic car and truck show on Sunday, children’s activities, Mountain Men and American Civil War re-enactors, and, of course, fantastic crafts, and home and personal products. We are striving to improve the quality of all activities in 2012. The Festival is open from 10AM to 6PM on Saturday and from 10AM to 4PM on Sunday. We will have Church service at the bridge on Sunday at 8:30AM.
Washington and Greene Counties are the home of 29 covered bridges; this year’s Covered Bridges Festivals will be held at 10 of these sites.
